Platte County is so lucky to be piloting this new transportation program for older adults!

Starting October 15th, 2024, any older adults aged 60+ can call 816-793-8812 to schedule a ride to one of our safe, convenient, fun senior centers!

Just call at least 24 hours in advance – and schedule a pickup from your front door, and a ride will come to take you to one of our senior centers in Platte County, either Parkville, Weston, Dearborn, or our collogues in Platte City or KCMO.

For all other transportation needs (other than to your local Senior Center), please contact the Platte County Senior Fund at 816-270-2800.

This transportation pilot program came about through the Missouri State Legislative Budget. This is part of the Governers efforts to prioritize senior services across the state. Partners across Platte and Clay county are working together to get the word out about this free transportation program. Right now the senior centers have rides and the Platte County Senior Fund has rides, so pretty much all the needs for seniors are covered, just give the number a call and get your ride booked today!
