We celebrate and make space for the spirit of love in our community.
In practical terms that means that we are a community center, a place to hang out, have group meet ups, partake in community events and activities, and provide connections with community partners and resources.
Community Activities/Resources
The Parkville Living Center is a hub for activities, resources and community engagement opportunities. If you have any questions or needs, we want to hear from you. If you know of some fun or interesting we want to hear from you too!
Here are some examples of community events and resources:
A weekly community lunch program, suggested $2 donation for those 60+ or 18+ with a disability and $5.75 for all others.

A place to just be
We know that life can get overwhelming. We also know that sometimes you just need a place to sit, breath, maybe chat, maybe not… where you are not expected to spend any money. The Parkville Living Center is that place.
Enjoy some premium Parkville Coffee, conversation, or just quiet

The Parkville Living Center is looking to build an intern program at Park University, so we are running a pilot program this year which would provide our interns a cumulative report of their activities, letter of recommendation, exposure to partner organizations, and critical real-world business development experience.

Our story - always being written
How We Got Started
We got our start during the pandemic, out of a recognition that our immediate world is shrinking and in that is an opportunity to match community needs with community resources. As a member of Parkville Presbyterian Church, founder Marcus Flores saw opportunity where need and resources collide.
Where We Are Now
Confident of the need and the resources available, we are building a coalition of leaders, members, partners and support, to be the heart and soul of the Parkville Living Center. Read more here.
