The Parkville Living Center was founded in 2020 and received its non-profit status in 2022. Located in the heart of Parkville, Missouri, this community center serves residents of all ages with focus on older adults. The mission of the Parkville Living Center is to celebrate and make space for the spirit of love in our community. The Parkville Living Center is a community center where anyone can come by and connect with others, learn something new, share a meal, and bring their needs as well as their resources. Participants enjoy a range of activities and programs, participate in a congregate lunch several times each week, and socialize with others.
In addition to the location in Parkville, we operate two satellite sites in the Northern Platte County communities of Dearborn and Weston. These sites offer services for older adults to socialize and engage in physical activity.
